Herbarium of the Senses vol. 01 Mugwort

It was quite natural for three of us to think and wish of making herbarium for keeping a record since we had extracted colours, flavours and tastes from plants every season all over Japan.

While the colour passing by in a moment, the scent that rose at that time, and the taste full of happiness cannot be kept in record, those will be remained in memory.

We have decided to collect “Herbarium of the Senses” one by one from now on that will be a switch to call back such memory to our mind.

A memorable first time theme is “Mugwort”.

We will dye the handkerchief a colour that can only be given by young grass and will make soft Yomogi-mochi* by distilling a gentle scent using spring water of mountain.

Let’s have a day to enjoy the beginning of spring at the foot of the mountain together.
