Pink for adult

My 4-year-old daughter loves pink.
When she dresses herself, her hat, T-shirt, skirt, socks and shoes become with all pink and I get shocked.
“How about this skirt?” Even if I suggest her with a different colour, she sticks to her pink coordinate she chose and seems to be thrilled and in a happy mood.
On the other hand, I often wear black, gray and white clothes, and I cannot remember since when did the pink disappear from me, as it was so long time ago.

When I became older, I was extremely moved by sakura* colour I met which was dyed with cherry branch.
It was slightly grayish with light cherry petal colour.
I think that soft and elegant sakura-coloured kimono would show the calmness in innocence if you are young, and it will also harmonise with elders.

However, this time, I ventured to design stripes by arranging a bright pink dyed with madder, in gray and beige dyed with acorns, Japanese Apricot branches and alder cones.
