After the workshop of “Herbarium of the Senses vol. 01 Mugwort” held on April 24, I left home for a while for some business, and just came back last night.
I finally have time to enjoy the beauty of mountains, fresh green of spring and the plump double-flowered cherry in full bloom.
I will be writing about the details of the workshop but I would like to express my appreciation before I start.
While I have found things that can be improved as a team and myself, I think it was a good workshop overall.
Everyone who joined the workshop has kindly made a nice and warm atmosphere. (I am always supported by the participants)
Unlike the previous workshops, we hosted ourselves and the venue was also at my home cum atelier.
Since it was our first trial, we did not know what was going to happen until it started, but everyone tried to find the time to gather for the workshop.
Some of them came from a far with their family, and while the mother was participating the workshop, the father took their child to play in the woods. I would like to extend my appreciation not only to the participants but also to their families for the support.
Similarly, Akiko KURATA, Miasa HASHIMOTO, I and the respective families were also involved in the workshop.
I could not have done it without their enthusiasm and kindness and I am happy that I could take one step forward.
I will keep up with my work until I see you again.
