Ever since I started to live at the foot of a mountain, I became to think of the summer solstice and the winter solstice as special days.
After the winter solstice, I feel relieved thinking that the peak of winter is passed, and my feelings become lighter in proportion to the time of day which gradually lengthens.
On the other hand, when the summer solstice is over, I prepare myself for the coming winter even though the summer is yet to come.
I do not hate cold winter and its darkness of the night, on the contrary, I rather like them.
However, knowing the severe winter in the foothills, there is a sense of tension or readiness on living.
You would not dare stand still outside at dusk for no reason at the time of the winter solstice.
That is why I want to enjoy the fleeting moments from sunset to night feeling the gentle breeze on my cheek on the summer solstice.
