Intriguing colours

One morning, I was walking as if to follow the bright vermilion coloured Rhododendron Kampferi that bloom here and there in the forest.

The other day, I joined with my daughter in the art class of woodblock artist Ko FURUKAWA for children.
We picked flowers and berries while taking a walk with everyone and used them as paint to draw pictures.
The children were led by the bright colour of flowers and gathered them respectively.

Then, rub the flowers and berries on the white drawing paper and draw it as you wish.
I feel that a series of these actions is an instinct.
Why? Because the adults themselves who were watching the children also started to draw avidly.

Fortunately, there are colours that really intrigue us in this world.
I want to cherish both the colours and our sensibility to receive them.
